We are pleased to announce that Aerostyle Pyrojacket® has been tested and certified to UL 1441 standards for flame resistance, oil resistance, and dielectric strength. Passing the UL Certification process required rigorous testing of our sleeve and an in-depth inspection and certification of the Insulflex® TQM (Total Quality Management) system to UL standards.
Aerostyle Pyrojacket® firesleeve is braided from high-bulk glass fiber, heavily coated with our proprietary iron oxide red silicone rubber compound. Aerostyle Pyrojacket will withstand repeated short exposure to molten steel, aluminum or glass, up to 3000°F (1650°C), and continuous exposure up to 500°F (260°C).
